# Installation

> Install Auth Plugin from the Framer Marketplace in five quick steps, so your project is ready to configure authentication from the plugin panel.

1. Open your Framer project
2. Go to **Plugins** (left sidebar or `Cmd/Ctrl + /`)
3. Search **"Auth Plugin"**
4. Click **Install**
5. Open the plugin from the Plugins panel

  Your site must be published at least once before running setup. The plugin needs a published URL to configure properly.
